As a composer he has had pieces performed at major contemporary music festivals around the world. His award-winning acoustic music has been performed by artists such as Joanna MacGregor, the Hilliard Ensemble and the Orlando Consort.

He won second place in the highly prestigious 2005 PRSF New Music Award. The piece, The Bells of Paradise, was then commissioned by the 2007 Spitalfields, Bury St.Edmunds, Lichfield and Norfolk and Norwich festivals. In 2008 it was nominated for a BACS composers award, and has been played on BBC radio 3 and 4, Classic Fm and Resonance Fm radio. Late Night Klara

I was on Belgian Radio recently with a selection of pieces that I chose as being important to my musical development. A kind of "Desert Island Disks" but where you hear each piece throughout, and the show lasts for two hours...

Satie, Skempton, Glass, Dowland, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Nic Jones, David Munrow, and a couple of my pieces chosen by the producer.
